No, if your water hardness is 7–10+ grains per gallon, we recommend adding our AquaOx WS Whole House Water Softener.

If there’s a boil notice for bacterial contamination and you don’t have a UV filter, boil your water. Our system is bacteriostatic, but it doesn’t remove existing bacteria.
No, the head is pre-programmed. Just set the local time and run a manual backwash after installation. Please contact us before making any other changes to avoid voiding the warranty.
